The room is already right; the Trinnov locks the low end
This room has been extensively treated with custom acoustics and measures extremely well. The monitoring is already precise, balanced and reliable. The Trinnov ST2 Pro sits at the very end of the process as a final optimisation layer, not as a fix for a problem that existed in the room itself.
In practice, it is the low end that the ST2 Pro is fine tuning. With the 3D Mic and La Remote in the system, we can measure, recall and compare the room's behaviour with precision, making sure the bottom octave is as defined and controlled as the midrange already is. It is a last look at the room, not a rescue job.

Phase, not just frequency
The ST2 Pro uses a 4-capsule 3D microphone to measure amplitude, phase and - crucially - the acoustic position of each loudspeaker. Its FIR-based approach works in the time domain as well as the frequency domain, which is why the stereo image tightens so dramatically. Centre-panned vocals sit in a fixed point in space; low frequency decisions stop depending on where the engineer's head is.
Why it matters commercially
It means the master we approve here behaves the same everywhere. Room induced errors are the single biggest cause of masters that sound wrong outside the studio, and the ST2 Pro removes that final variable from the job.
How it sits in our chain
Monitoring and main conversion run through the Prism Sound Dream ADA-8XR - including the feed into the ST2 Pro itself. We use the Prism converters rather than the ST2's own, so the optimiser only ever sees reference grade conversion and its correction is applied to the same signal we master through. The ST2 polishes the room; the Prism guarantees what arrives at it.
